The fifth Solvay Conference on Physics held from 24 to 29 October 1927 in Brussels was attended by 29 physicists.

The subject was Electrons and Photons, and the world’s most notable physicists met to discuss the newly formulated quantum theory.

17 out of the 29 people in this photo won the Nobel Prize in Physics.
